Dulcie's Cottage is a bar that is set in a 1925 weatherboard cottage on Merimbula Main Street. The kitchen offers a cool, concise menu of local oysters and American-style burgers, all of which are prepared in a restored 1950's caravan that sits in the bar's al fresco area. Enjoy a burger, beer or classic cocktail on a bench under the jacaranda tree in the front yard or choose a seat on the deck overlooking Merimbula Lake. NB: Unfortunately at this stage due to licensing conditions, all children under the age of 18 are not permitted by law on the premises after 8pm, even with parents. Dulcie's Cottage has a general bar licence, and in order to allow minors to enjoy our venue, a minors' authority approval is needed. This approval has been applied for and we are waiting to hear back. The classification of the \"General Bar\" is what differentiates us from the restaurants and clubs as they have different liquor licences and conditions attached to their premises. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this causes. It sure is a bummer for us.
