Trangie Caravan Park is situated next to the town swimming pool and sports complex with plenty of large trees for shade and grass areas for camping They will take you to your site and every day at 5 pm they have happy hour in winter around their fire pit and in summer in the camp kitchen.
If you are looking for an overnight stop or somewhere to unwind for a few days then try the township of Trangie situated only 71 kilometres from Dubbo on the Mitchell highway.

Tour One is a free cotton tour of a local Gin from mid April till late July each year daily, they meet in the camp kitchen around 9am for a talk on how cotton is grown and then take a trip to the Gin for a 3/4 hour tour .
Tour Two is a nightly self guided tour just before sunset to areas within 15 minutes of the park were you can take pictures of the night sky with an uninterrupted view of the western sky.
