--TrueLocal description--
Our cabby informed us this was where the Queen, Madonna, Prince and various other persons of note stay when they’re in town. As if to prove his point we spotted Kate Cebrano at reception and Mike Munro having a coffee. Offering more privacy and seclusion than its competitors, this recently renovated grand hotel on the river is a great place to get away from it all in the centre of the city. Minimalist-schminimalist, the décor is all about oldfashioned luxury, with art on the walls, classic furniture, views from every room and marble as far as the eye can see in the bathroom (plus a mini-TV by the sink so you don’t have to miss Kochie while you’re getting ready).
